Laura is a first year PhD student who completed her MChem at the University of Sheffield, with a year of industrial experience at GlaxoSmithKline.
Her project focuses around creating a toolkit of small molecules able to influence the size and morphology of nanomaterial formation, with the end goal of designing a bioinspired route to controlled nanomaterial synthesis that is both green and industrially viable. She is currently focusing on magnetite nanoparticles.
We are actively seeking applications from prospective PhD students. Contact us for more details.
